🧠 Pitch
"A simple card battle, a desire to live, a talent for swindling. The last game of your life, against the devil?"
A card on the table, the devil lays down his, your time to lay down yours. Knowing the devil's card already and with your card hidden up your sleeve, divert the devil's attention so that you can change your card to give yourself the best possible chance, but be careful not to get caught trying to con the devil, otherwise you're sure to die! The first one between you and the devil to reach 15 points wins the game ... and his life ?

🕹️ Gameplay Snapshot
The cards get given to the Devil and you, once in hands the Devil will play his card. Now that you know it, you've got the chance to change yours to have better chance of winning..
With the gold buttons, you can divert the devil's attention by making him turn his head. Take advantage of this to change the symbol or the face of your card so that it is better than your opponent's, but be careful because if the devil sees you cheating, he will make you play your card immediately whatever it is.
The cards available are the jack, queen, king and ace of each symbol, spades, clubs, diamonds and hearts. To win the battle, the card must have the same symbol, the same face or the same symbol AND face as the card already on the board.
The most similar card between yours and the devil's wins, otherwise it's a tie and the round starts again. The first of you to reach 15 points wins!

🛠️ My Contribution
- Game Design (Concept of the Game, How to use the Arcade Box's inputs for our game (To use all buttons), How to win & lose, balancing of timers and odds % in the game)
- QA Testing (Playtest and feedbacks for each implementation of mechanics from the Progs and Artists)
💡 Lesson Learned
Since I had a bigger team for this Jam, the biggest lesson was the communication with each members so everyone share the same vision and no misscommunication or misunderstanding of the concept.
I also learnt the bases of how to make a game designed for an Arcade Box, with joysticks, big buttons, etc.. It was fun to use and to see working and satisfying at the end of the week!
🔗 Play Link
The game is playable but the controls might be a bit odds since it was designed for an Arcade Box, the Itch.io link here!
