"Running for your life on this infinite road would be easy if there were not thoses deadly traps !! Some circular blades, enormous boulders, the runic flamethrower or even worst..?"
Deeper Dungeon is an endless runner where, chased by a spike moving wall, you've got to jump and dodge obstacles and enemies to maybe succeed to leave this place.

🕹️ Gameplay Snapshot
As every Endless Runner, Deeper Dungeon is a really simple game, your character will run to the right infinitely, and you just have to press the spacebar to make him jump over obstacles and enemies.
The more your game progress, the more the speed will increase, making harder and shorter your reaction times to jump and survive.
You can collect piles of gold around obstacles, I couldn't add the shop mechanics but I still loved the idea.
Shop Mechanic Idea: With the gold you could buy some obstacles, enemies and biomes.. So basicly buying more content for the game by playing, each new enemies and obstacles bringing it's lot of gold too, and possibly new mechanics or interactions while running such as falling bridges, moving target, catapults, etc..

💡 Lesson Learned
For an Endless Runner, I saw the importance of balancing, juiciness and gamefeels for the game to be satisfying and fully enjoyable to play.
+ Short project limited by time, it's always super interesting to learn new type of game that I might not have the chance to try developping.
